How to Sell Your Item

Turn your pre-loved luxury kids items into cash in four simple steps. No listings to manage, no strangers at your door — we handle everything.

Submit Your Item

Fill in our Sell an Item form with details about your piece — brand, model, condition and photos. The more detail you provide, the faster we can assess it. Submissions are free and carry no obligation.

We Assess Your Submission

Our team reviews every submission individually, typically within 48 hours. We evaluate the brand, condition, current market demand and retail value before responding. No offer is made until we have assessed the item — we do not guarantee a price at submission stage.

Receive & Accept Your Offer

If your item is accepted, we will reach out with a cash offer via email or phone. You are under no obligation to accept. If you are happy with the offer, simply confirm and we will arrange the next step.

Drop Off & Payment

Once the offer is accepted, drop off your item at a convenient location. After the item is received and confirmed against the submission, payment is processed promptly via EFT to your South African bank account.

How We Evaluate Your Item

Every item submitted to LuxiKids is reviewed by our team against a consistent set of criteria. This ensures fair, transparent offers and maintains the quality standard our buyers trust.

Brand & Model

We work with established luxury kids brands. Items from brands not on our accepted list may not be suitable for our platform.

Condition

We assess wear, functionality and overall presentation. Items in excellent or very good condition attract the strongest offers.

Completeness

All original parts, accessories and where applicable, documentation should be present. Missing components directly affect the offer value.

Market Demand

Current resale demand, retail pricing and the item's rarity all factor into the offer we are able to make.

What You Need to Know

We believe in full transparency. Please read the following before submitting an item.

No Offer Is Guaranteed

Submitting an item does not guarantee an offer or acceptance. Our team reviews each submission and reserves the right to decline any item that does not meet our standards. An offer is only made after physical or photo-based assessment.

Items Must Be in Working Condition

We do not accept items that are broken, non-functional or pose any safety concern. Items with cracked frames, faulty harness systems, damaged wheels or other structural issues will be declined regardless of brand or age.

Missing Parts Affect Your Offer

Items submitted with missing components — adapters, canopies, rain covers, straps, accessories or original packaging — will receive a significantly reduced offer or may be declined. Please be honest and thorough when describing your item.

Repairable Items — Reduced Pricing

If an item has minor cosmetic issues or faults that can be repaired by our team, we may still make an offer — however, the repair cost will be deducted from the offer price, which may result in a significantly lower payout than expected.

Authenticity

All items must be genuine. If an item is found to be counterfeit or misrepresented, the submission will be immediately declined.

Payment Timing

Payment is processed after the item has been received, inspected and confirmed against the original submission. We do not make advance payments. All payments are made via EFT to a South African bank account.
